Cafe Kollektiv Krawall, a self-organised café and cultural centre, regularly hosts queer parties and events and is one of the community's steady anchors. The DIVAlounge is another well-known address with a changing programme of music and shows.

At the Juzi student centre, regular party nights run under the name queerBar, aimed specifically at the queer community and its allies. Clubs such as Tangente and Club Luna also welcome queer guests on mixed nights, even though they aren't dedicated queer venues themselves.

The Queeres Zentrum Göttingen is the community's central point of contact outside party nights, organising its own events and keeping people informed about what's on. Göttingen does not have a dedicated gay sauna.
