Gay Saunas in the United Kingdom

A third of the saunas in the United Kingdom are located in London, three others in Brighton. The rest are spread across the country in individual pieces, conspicuously often on the south coast — Plymouth, Exeter and Bournemouth each have an address.

Brighton is the real conspicuousness. Three hotels in a city of this size stand for a scene that has shaped the place for decades; Brighton is also on a par with London in terms of hotels.

Five addresses are permanently closed, a quarter of today's stock. Anyone looking for a name from the past should therefore check whether the house still exists before driving.
