Gay Saunas in Italy

Italy distributes its 18 saunas more evenly than almost any other country. They have 15 cities, and the top is shared by Turin, Catania and Milan with two houses each.

Rome comes up with one thing. This is the number that surprises: The capital is located here behind Turin and behind Catania in Sicily, which hardly occurs in any other European country. By the way, the ratio is reversed when it comes to cruising addresses — Rome leads there with four.

In practice, the even distribution means that almost every larger city is worthwhile, but does not have any as a goal for itself. There are no permanently closed addresses.

Italy is also far ahead in terms of cruising addresses with 15, but only two in gay hotels. The gap between the categories is greater here than almost anywhere else in Europe.
