Freibad Prinzenbad

Sommerbad Kreuzberg, commonly known as Prinzenbad, is Berlin's most famous and heavily visited public open-air swimming pool. Located in the multicultural Kreuzberg district between the Prinzenstraße U-Bahn station and the Landwehr Canal, this expansive facility welcomes diverse visitors: competitive swimmers, families, early morning swimmers, and the LGBTIQ+ community all find their place here.

The pool complex features three swimming areas – two 50-meter pools with varying depths and a large shallow pool with a water slide. Beyond the water facilities, visitors enjoy generous sunbathing lawns, terraces, and a children's playground. Additional amenities include a naturist area and an adventure playground. A kiosk provides refreshments, snacks, and classic pool-side fare to satisfy hungry swimmers.
