Club AMT

Club AMT sits beneath the S-Bahn arches at Alexanderplatz, right next to the Burgermeister food stand, with the entrance hidden behind a late-night corner shop. A spiral staircase leads down into former casino rooms that now hold up to a thousand guests across two floors, complete with a darkroom and a chill-out area. The sound leans toward peak-time and hard techno, alongside queer club nights and sex-positive, kink-friendly parties during the week. The project comes from Robert Havemann, who previously built up the Neukölln bar Velvet. Entry usually runs between fifteen and twenty-five euros, with cocktails around eight — comparatively affordable for a club this central in Berlin. The combination of fair pricing, a rotating line-up and an open door policy makes AMT a venue aimed at a broad, not purely techno-scene crowd.
