Æden sits on Lohmühleninsel in Berlin-Kreuzberg, an island framed by the Spree and the Landwehr Canal. The club took over the site of the former Chalet Garten and turned it into an open-air venue with two indoor floors and a garden in between. The island setting shapes the whole experience: trees, water on both sides, a soundproofed entrance hall. Musically, it's all about electronic music, mostly techno and trance, booked through a mix of international and Berlin-based DJs. Beyond regular club nights, Æden hosts concerts, art installations and exhibitions — it positions itself as a cultural space rather than just a dance floor. The venue holds around 350 guests and comes into its own in summer, when the open-air area is in full use. There are no fixed opening hours; Æden runs on an event basis, with individual parties and concerts rather than continuous bar service.
