MS Panta Rhei

This lake steamer, part of the Lake Zurich shipping company's fleet, normally operates as a standard excursion boat, with panoramic windows, multiple decks and a lift for step-free access between them. It can be chartered for concerts, talks and private celebrations, holding several hundred guests.

A handful of times a year, the boat is transformed into a floating party venue for a queer boat-party series run jointly by several of the city's established queer party crews and the shipping operator. On those nights, DJs and drag performers turn the decks into a dancefloor overlooking the lake and skyline, with the evening typically continuing at partner clubs in town once the boat returns to shore.

For queer visitors the boat is really only relevant on those specific dates — it isn't a queer venue in itself, since for the rest of the year it's booked for every kind of general event and celebration.
