Hive Club sits in the creative quarter around Geroldstrasse in Zurich West and has been a fixture of the city's club scene for many years. Three rooms plus an outdoor area cover different strands of electronic music between techno, tech-house and deep house, backed by regularly changing, elaborately designed interiors and the club's own kitchen, Gerold Chuchi, for a late-night bite.
For the queer community, Hive Club is a recurring anchor point: it serves as the official venue for Zurich's Pride party and is home to the long-running, well-established queer party series Boyahkasha, known for its drag shows and electronic music. Hive is not a dedicated queer club, but it is one of the most reliable places where queer nightlife in Zurich regularly happens.
