Auer & Co. is the coffee bar on the ground floor of Impact Hub Zurich on Sihlquai, tucked into a former industrial building right next to the Oberer Letten outdoor pool. Wooden tables, designer chairs and exposed brick walls create a relaxed, lounge-like feel that leans closer to a living room than a typical café. The menu runs to specialty coffee, sandwiches and a rotating weekly lunch, with a terrace for warmer days.
As the social hub of a multi-floor coworking space, Auer & Co. draws mostly freelancers and startup people during the day. For the queer community, it doubles as a regular, informal meeting point: the group "be queer! Zurich" holds its get-togethers here. There is no dedicated queer programming, but the open, welcoming atmosphere has made it a natural spot for these gatherings to settle into.
