Camera Club is a two-floor nightclub on Neubaugasse in Vienna's Neubau district, with roots reaching back to the 1970s and a fresh start after a period of closure. The interior stays deliberately simple – brick walls, projections and a disco ball favour atmosphere over elaborate decor, while the club is regarded as one of the best-equipped in the country when it comes to sound.
The programme covers a lot of ground: electronic music, Latin nights and 90s throwbacks sit alongside student parties, with queer party series appearing regularly in the mix. That does not make Camera Club a dedicated queer venue, but it is a place where a diverse, cross-generational crowd gathers – queer events included. Entry is from age 18.
