About the LGBT Scene in Turin

Turin's queer scene is modest but real, spread across individual addresses rather than one dedicated district. For sauna and cruising in a private setting, 011 Sauna Club is the city's best-known address, complemented by GarageClub, both offering steam rooms and quieter corners away from the street.

For going out, Tunnel Club, Extreme, and the bar Senzafronzoli are the established names, ranging from relaxed cocktail evenings with conversation to nights built around a dance floor and a resident DJ. Weekends tend to be the most reliable time to find a full program; on weekdays, the offering thins out considerably.

Unlike Milan, Turin has no dedicated gay district; venues are scattered across the city, some in the old town, some further out toward the edges. Most spots are still easy to reach on foot or by tram, which makes switching between venues over the course of an evening fairly simple, even without a car.

What Turin offers is a small but functioning queer infrastructure – enough for a good night out, without the scale or venue density of a bigger city like Milan or Rome. Regulars and first-time visitors mix easily in a scene that stays close-knit precisely because it isn't large.
