Old Town Artisans is a historic shopping and cultural destination in downtown Tucson, situated on the grounds of the former Spanish fort El Presidio San Augustín del Tucson. Once the stables area of the fort, the site now houses a diverse collection of artisan shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars arranged around a charming Spanish-style courtyard featuring a live music stage and pond.
The adobe buildings retain original architectural elements including saguaro cactus rib ceilings, whiskey barrel staves, and gold-leaf moldings that reflect the location's rich heritage. Visitors can browse handcrafted jewelry, pottery, textiles, Native American art, and vintage goods. The on-site restaurant La Cocina offers authentic cuisine in a picturesque outdoor setting. Old Town Artisans seamlessly blends shopping, dining, and cultural immersion, providing an authentic experience of Tucson's layered history and vibrant local artisan community.
