LGBT Deystvie

LGBT Deystvie is a grassroots organization in Sofia dedicated to supporting and advancing the LGBTIQ+ community in Bulgaria. As a cultural institution, it provides comprehensive resources and activities for young LGBTIQ+ individuals, including legal assistance, psychological support, and information on legislation and human rights. The organization is recognized for its role in co-organizing the annual Sofia Pride and for its commitment to combating homophobia and discrimination. Beyond in-person counseling services, LGBT Deystvie operates an online platform functioning as a virtual LGBTIQ+ center, offering information for LGBTIQ+ people and their families. The organization documents and analyzes hate crimes and discrimination cases while actively advocating for legislative changes to strengthen the rights and protections of the LGBTIQ+ community in Bulgaria.
