Das Zimmer sits right in the middle of Mannheim's Quadrate district, in block Q5, and ranks among the city's fixed addresses for electronic music. House, techno, tech-house, goa, drum & bass and trance rotate through the programme, with doors open Thursday to Saturday into the early morning.
Two dedicated series serve the queer scene here: "PROUD", a community party, and "QUEENS", a drag and queens show night. Both run regularly, usually on the first weekend of the month, and are firmly anchored in the venue's own programme rather than being a one-off booking.
