Uferlos-Schwul-lesbischer Sportverein 1996 Karlsruhe e. V.

Uferlos is Karlsruhe's queer sports club, welcoming lesbians, gay men, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual individuals, as well as all others who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community. With more than 200 members, the club operates 14 departments across 12 different sports disciplines.

The offerings span traditional ball sports such as volleyball, badminton, and football, alongside running, aerobics, and recreational activities including hiking, boules, and bowling. Strength training and inline skating round out the diverse program. Uferlos creates an inclusive space where people of all genders, sexual orientations, and gender identities come together to exercise, build friendships, and foster community.

The club regularly organizes excursions, summer festivals, and other social events that strengthen the sense of belonging among members. Uferlos plays a vital role in Karlsruhe's queer scene, actively promoting visibility and solidarity within the LGBTQIA+ community while providing accessible opportunities for sports and recreation.
