About Anyway (Jugendzentrum)
- Organization/
Counseling
Anyway in Cologne serves as a vibrant LSBTIQ* youth center, known as the queer heart of the city. It provides a safe space for young people aged 14 to 27 to connect, share experiences, and unwind. The cozy café invites visitors to play foosball, pool, or simply enjoy a drink in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The center offers comprehensive counseling on topics including lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, and queer identities. Regular events such as quiz nights, movie evenings, readings, karaoke, and parties keep things dynamic. Standout features include the Coming-in-Day for newcomers, Café International, and the Trans* youth meetup. A dedicated team of volunteers supports the staff, turning Anyway into a bustling hub for the wider region.
Through educational outreach, media projects, and community gatherings, Anyway stands as a key resource for queer youth and their allies.
