andersROOM is a queer center located in Siegen, housed in a former fire station on Freudenberger Straße. The venue serves as a welcoming meeting point for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex individuals, as well as their allies and family members. The center offers a diverse program featuring regular social gatherings, casual bar evenings, and cultural events including exhibitions, readings, live music, and cabaret performances. Beyond its social offerings, andersROOM provides counseling services for LSBTIQ+ people. Operated by the Queere Initiative Siegen e.V., the venue has been instrumental in promoting visibility and community support for Siegen's queer population. The center combines hospitality with activism, creating a vibrant space where people can connect, celebrate, and access support services in a safe and inclusive environment.
