Melvyn's in Palm Springs embodies the timeless glamour of Old Hollywood, nestled behind manicured hedges at the Ingleside Estate. Beneath the glow of chandeliers and a restored 1895 oak bar, live piano music sets the mood in a vintage-chic space that feels like a step into a golden era. The discreet, sophisticated atmosphere once drew legends like Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, offering an escape steeped in elegance and nostalgia.
The menu showcases refined American classics with local flair: tender steaks, fresh seafood, hearty chicken pot pie, and dramatic tableside desserts such as Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee. Tuxedoed servers provide impeccable service, while the adjoining Casablanca Lounge invites guests to sip martinis amid clinking glasses and celebrity lore. More than a meal, dining at Melvyn's is a theatrical experience celebrating Palm Springs' enduring hospitality.
It's the perfect spot for those seeking sophisticated charm and a taste of desert history.
