HARDWARE Bar in New York's Hell's Kitchen is a vibrant gay bar and lounge housed in a former hardware store, boasting an award-winning industrial design with concrete floors, an axe door handle, and a striking barrel-vaulted ceiling. This gay-owned spot offers strong, reasonably priced drinks, signature cocktails, and daily happy hour specials that draw locals and visitors alike for casual hangs or lively nights out.
The long, narrow space transitions from a front bar area to a back dance floor and stage, hosting nightly drag performances by top New York queens featuring showtunes, splits, games, and roulettes. Weekdays provide a relaxed pub vibe perfect for after-work meetups, while weekends ramp up with top DJ sets and high-energy crowds. Sundays feature a 'skinny brunch' with affordable mimosas and Bloody Marys. Centrally located near Times Square, it's a go-to for authentic LGBTQ+ entertainment and community spirit.
