Kaminwerk is a cultural centre in Memmingen, housed in the former halls of a chimney factory in the Anschützstraße industrial area. It is run by the association Kulturzentrum MM e.V., which fills its two event spaces with concerts year-round – rock, metal, indie folk, jazz and blues among them. The programme also includes cinema nights, theatre, cabaret, readings, karaoke and club parties, plus dedicated formats for younger audiences such as the teen disco “Rookie Dookie”. Regular visitors can become members of the association, which comes with perks like free entry to club nights.

For Memmingen's queer community, Kaminwerk is best known as the finishing point of the local Pride march, which traditionally ends here. What follows is a chill-out area, drag shows and DJ sets running into the evening. There is no permanent queer programme, but the venue has become the fixed spot for the Pride afterparty over time – centrally located, with enough space for a sizeable crowd.
