Visitors come here for both the atmosphere and the variety of sights. Because the grounds are open and spacious, the Kremlin works well for a relaxed walk as well as a deeper sightseeing stop. It is one of the best places in Kazan to experience the meeting of Tatar and Russian traditions in a single setting, and its mix of sacred, political, and architectural landmarks makes it especially distinctive.
