Fraueninitiative Tangiert

Fraueninitiative Tangiert is a self-help group for women whose partners come out as gay or bisexual – often after many years of marriage. The initiative provides affected women and children with a safe space to navigate their transformed life circumstances and discover new perspectives.

The group meets regularly for experience sharing and mutual support. In a peaceful and respectful atmosphere, women can express their feelings, be understood, and find individual solutions. Tangiert helps overcome isolation and create flexible life models tailored to personal needs. Members support each other through reorientation and form a trusted network for this unique life situation. The group fosters an environment where each woman can confidently process her own circumstances and learn from the diverse relationship models and experiences of others.
