There's no solid evidence for the dedicated gay saunas with darkrooms that some generic guides claim exist in Coventry.

With around 350,000 residents, the city is large enough to support an active community of its own, even though it concentrates around a couple of fixed venues rather than a whole bar district. The Yard and Glamorous both sit centrally and work well as stops on the same night out.
For anyone wanting more choice, Birmingham remains close by, but a night split between The Yard and Glamorous covers what Coventry itself has to offer.
