GAP

GAP in Bonn serves as an open youth center and counseling hub tailored for LGBTIQ+ youth and young adults aged 14 to 27. It welcomes individuals identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, inter, genderqueer, or queer, along with those exploring their identities or feeling uncertain.

The atmosphere is welcoming and affirming, creating a safe space for conversations, connections, and relaxation. Regular group nights include Mädlz* Night on Mondays, Junx* Night on Wednesdays, GAP for all* on Thursdays, Trans*fair on the first and third Fridays, and BI_PoC Night on the last Saturday, fostering diverse interactions. A standout feature is 'GAP Queer Refugees,' dedicated to youth with migration backgrounds.

In addition to the drop-in sessions, GAP offers confidential one-on-one counseling, events, and activities. Operated by Aids-Hilfe Bonn e.V., it operates citywide, promoting community, acceptance, and empowerment in a supportive environment.
